I am a 33 (almost 34) year resident of Alaska. All of that in Fairbanks. I’ve been a business owner since 1995. My first business was Far North Urethane, spraying urethane foam insulation and coatings. My second (and current business) is Bulletproof Trailers, purchased in 2003.

I’ve worked for UAF as an operator and mechanic in their power plant as well as a mechanic/welder at the Ft. Wainwright power plant. My first marriage produced an incredible daughter who was born and raised in Fairbanks. She went to school here, including graduating from UAF. She now resides in Tucson, Arizona and will soon be moving to Phoenix.

I am married to a wonderful woman, Dani Sheppard, who is a full professor of psychology at UAF. I like to say that I am her lab rat for the best and longest experiment on planet earth. I am a private pilot and proud aircraft owner. I have a Cessna 185 that I use primarily as a float plane. I recently purchased a Robinson R-44 helicopter and I’m currently learning to fly that as well. I like to fly, hunt, fish, and spend time at our remote cabin.

I ran for, and won, seat “B” on the Borough assembly in 2022. I’m now running for re-election in October for the same seat. I am dedicated and willing to serve another term as your assemblymember. I would appreciate your vote on October 7th.
